Description
A pack of hand-dyed, gently-shaded silk threads suitable for shading a hand stitched project. This quality pack of thread is hand dyed by Chameleon Threads in South Africa, on quality silk – Au ver a Soie – imported from France. They are lovely to stitch with and a must have for the keen embroiderer. Au ver a’ Soie 100% unbleached pure silk is used as the base thread.
The Soie de Paris is a 6-stranded silk and has a wonderful sheen and has good light reflection qualities. One strand can be used for embroiderers who love very fine work.
