In the press

I am fortunate to have been published in many magazines and journals over my career. Below you can peek at some of the articles and projects I have had published.

Russian publications

I have had four pieces of my work published in two of the Russian cross stitch and embroidery magazines. These were translated by Maria Shilina of Rukodelie DeLuxe, in St Petersburg.

The magazines are Lena-Rukodelie -Лена Рукоделие and Vyshityie Kartiny Вышитые картины. Here is a peek at one of the designs which was published. I’ve really enjoyed my teaching trips to St Petersburg, its wonderful to teach such enthusiastic ladies.

I have been published in several editions of the lovely Inspirations magazine. I was delighted to have a 10 page spread in Issue 78 for my nostalgic silk ribbon blooms project. More recently the 100th issue in October 2018 featured the My Cottage Garden project which is available as a kit and pattern from shop.

My work has been published in Stitch magazine a number of times. Stitch is one of our premier British embroidery magazines, published under the auspices of the Embroiderers Guild, edited by Kathy Troup and is circulated internationally.

In order to possibly obtain back copies of the magazines, visit the Embroiderers Guild website. These designs are all available as kits in the shop section.

A Passion For Needlework has been collated by Inspirations magazine and features a range of inspiring galleries and projects including some of my embroidery designs. It is available from Amazon.
