These charming and simple designs are aimed at the beginner to embroidery, with a lot of repetition of certain stitches: Detached Chain stitch (lazy daisy), Fly stitch, Running stitch, Straight stitch, Buttonhole stitch, Bullion stitch and Palestrina stitch for the edging on the scissor stand.

DESIGN SIZE:
Scissor stand – Finished size of design area: 11cm x 4.5cm (4¼” x 1¾”).
Scissor keeper – Finished size of design area: 7cm or 3” in diameter
Needle Nanny/minder – Finished size of design area: 38mm (1½”) in diameter.

KIT CONTENTS: The set includes the designs screened onto linen/cotton blend fabric, muslin for backing the embroidery, backing of Stof fabric where applicable, selection of DMC threads, needles, wooden spool, 1 x 38mm button for covering & a magnetised back to the button, a pair of scissors, instructions and stitch glossary with colour photographs.

You can also buy full kits of the Needle Minder, Scissor Keeper, and Scissor Stand separately!

You would need 4”, 5” and 6” (10cm, 12cm and 16cm) hoops for working these designs.
