At last – our most comprehensive pattern and print kit to date!
I have created design for the person who has some experience of embroidery, as well as sewing skills. The idea behind the design is that each person gets to create their own unique garden for their bag/tote. A basic design is screened/printed onto the fabric. This is then added to from the design sheet supplied if so desired – the embroiderer adds as many flowers as they would like to create their own garden.
The design has been worked on a pure linen/cotton blend fabric, using Perle No.12 threads and stranded cottons.
N.B. Please note that threads and needles are NOT included in our Pattern & Prints. We have supplied everything needed to complete the bag, other than for threads and needles. The cellophane bags are all labelled so that it is clear as to the contents.
DESIGN SIZE: 13cm x 18cm (5½” x 7″) in diameter. It can be worked in a 22cm or 9″ hoop.
Finished size of the bag: 18.75cm x 28cm (7½” x 11″) not including the handles.
CONTENTS: Linen/cotton blend embroidery fabric for back and front, muslin for backing, fabric for the button with muslin, linen/cotton blend embroidery fabric for handles & tab, lining of Stof linen/cotton blend, interlining – this is a lovely soft quality wadding/batting – 80% cotton with 20% polyester, iron-on stabilizer or Vlieselene/Vilene, 38mm brass button + 5 washers, pelmet or stiff stabilizer for base, a full size pattern as in the book so this one can be cut up and the original in the book retained as well as a comprehensive set of photographs, instructions and stitch glossary.

All of my designer pattern and prints are beautifully packaged in cellophane bags, making them very suitable as gifts.
