Chameleon Threads are individually hand-dyed in South Africa, using Presentia unbleached perlè 16 100% mercerized cotton as a base thread. Perlè cotton is a hard wearing twisted thread with a beautiful sheen and can not be separated. It is used in, for example canvas work, counted thread embroidery, crewel work and free style embroidery. Perlè Cotton no.16 comes in 20m skeins.
