2014 has been a very eventful and tumultuous year for me as many of you know. It is gradually slowing down and I am at last getting back to something equating normal again.
So much so that I have decided that I would take a stand at Alexandra Palace at the Knit and Stitch show next week, running from 8 – 12 October. This huge stitching event has now been upped to a 5 day event so lots of stamaina needed.
I had a stand at Hampton Court two weeks ago as pictured above – it was a beautiful show aimed at all crafts – many had not even seen or heard of ribbon embroidery so many watched me demonstrate. I even had someone ask if I had invented it!! Needless to add I was tempted…
My sister Helen will be alongside me – the first time she has ever been to Knit & Stitch show and only the second show that she has helped me with. She does not know what she is in for!
Please pop along and visit me on the stand. I am happy to help with any advice and to demonstrate stitches and techniques. A good number of years have passed since I last exhibited so I have many new designs available as both full kits and P&P. I will have Chameleon threads and River Silks ribbons that I use in my designs with me on the stand as well as a new range of cards with my designs featured on them.
Back to packing kits – there just never seem to be enough hours in the day.
