Welcome to the Lorna Bateman Embroidery website! We have recently launched our 'new look' site, which hopefully will make for easier navigation and shopping. We sell a range of designer embroidery kits as well as some haberdashery and a range of threads and silk ribbons.

I now design and trade under Lorna Bateman Embroidery and no longer use Vari-Galore Embroidery.

In keeping our entire product range has  been revamped and repackaged to present a high end quality product suitable for both personal use or for purchasing as a gift. The product range includes both designs for the beginner as well as embroiderer looking for a more challenging project. We offer full kits, as well as pattern and print, and pattern only/PDF files. 

In addition we have created a whole new-look Lorna Bateman Embroidery Designs shop, available via the link on the top menu. This will allow you to browse my products in a far easier and more intuitive way (we hope!).  All comments are welcome!

For those new to my website, I have lived in the UK for 12 years - originally from South Africa -  and am now happily working as a teacher and designer.  I love all forms of 3-dimensional, raised and textured embroidery and try to encompass as many of them in my designs as possible!
